This fearsome power activates whenever a Dark Energy is attached from your energy zone to Darkrai EX, striking the opponent’s active Pokémon with 20 damage. It also has Dark Prism which lets you deal 80 damage for all the energy that you gain.

- a1-177-weezing: Your ideal main tank aside from a1a-56-druddigon, which helps your a2-110-darkrai-ex charge in the back. It also serves as a substantial threat while a2-110-darkrai-ex casually deals damage.
- a2-110-darkrai-ex: One of your main damage dealers due to its Nightmare Aura ability, which lets you deal 20 damage while gaining energy for its 80 damage Dark Prism attack. This ability puts huge pressure on your opponent.
- a2-107-croagunk/[a2-108-toxicroak]: Your backup high-damage threat in case things get too fast or bad. This pairs well with a2-110-darkrai-ex as it’s non-EX, allowing a2-108-toxicroak to take hits while a2-110-darkrai-ex deals the final blow.
- a1a-56-druddigon: A backup tank if you don’t have access to a1-177-weezing, it also serves as another Pokémon you can fill the board with a2-108-toxicroak.
- PROMO-007/PROMO-005: Essential card draws at this point.
- a1a-68-leaf: Valuable due to the high retreat cost for most of your Pokémon.
- A1-222: A recycler for a1-177-weezing to heal while letting one of your Pokémon go to the front, like a2-110-darkrai-ex or a2-108-toxicroak. Only one is included due to the abundance of Supporters.
- a2-151-team-galactic-grunt: A specific card draw for a2-107-croagunk that synergizes well with a2-146-pokemon-communication, allowing you to return a2-107-croagunk to the deck and draw with a2-151-team-galactic-grunt.
- a2-146-pokemon-communication: One of the best cards in the new expansion, improving deck consistency and synergizing well with a2-151-team-galactic-grunt.
- Cape: A better Potion for higher HP, preventing knockouts from 140 damage thresholds for a2-110-darkrai-ex, such as from A1a-018 or A1-129.
Alternatives
- A2-099: A good replacement for a2-108-toxicroak, offering more reliable damage although less overall and being an EX card. Be cautious about letting it get knocked out.
- A2-150: Synergizes incredibly well with the deck given your a1-177-weezing and a2-110-darkrai-ex, but it’s difficult to fit due to the number of Supporters already included.
