In this article, we’ll cover how to beat the Charcadet Drop event in the fastest and most efficient way possible, so let’s dive right in.

Charcadet Drop event (Beginner)

Battle Task

MissionReward
Knock Out your opponent’s Active Pokémon 1 time with an attack from a Water-type PokémonPokémon TCG Pocket Event Hourglass 4
Put 3 Basic Pokémon into playPokémon TCG Pocket Event Hourglass 4

The opponent's deck is composed of Fire type which are all weak to Water. We can choose any Water deck we have to do the knock out with a Water-type mission. It is also important to put 3 Pokemon in the board to fulfill the other mission as well.

As for my deck choice, we will be running the strongest performing Water deck as of late which does include Baxcalibur from Paldean Wonders. The cards included are for missions on later difficulties since we will need Paldean Wonders cards.

For how to play the Suicune Baxcalibur deck, ideally starting with Suicune is ideal since we want to draw cards and evolve Frigibax into Baxcalibur as fast as you can. Suicune can also damage early on because it only needs 2 energy. Once you have Baxcalibur online, It can now provide energy into your active letting you attack with Suicune earlier if you went first but the main Pokemon it will be providing energy into is Chien-Pao. So if you already have Chien-Pao too, you can put one energy into it and then later on with manual attachment and Baxcaliburs ability, it can have 3 energy letting it use Diving Icicles. Diving Icicles can be used to hit any target on the field making it a strong damage dealer and when paired with 2 Baxcalibur can attack every turn. The other cards are just to support this playstyle while also fulfilling the Paldean Wonders quota.

Charcadet Drop event (Intermediate)

Battle Task

MissionReward
Knock Out your opponent’s Active Pokémon 1 time with an attack from a Water-type PokémonPokémon TCG Pocket Event Hourglass 3
Put a Stage 1 Pokémon into playPokémon TCG Pocket Event Hourglass 4
Win this battle with 2 or more Paldean Wonders cards included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Event Hourglass 2

We are just using the same deck again since we do run Arctibax while also fulfilling the 2 Paldean Wonders cards in our deck. It is very important to evolve into Actibax or you won't be able to fulfill the stage 1 Pokemon mission.

As for how to play the deck, check the earlier sections of the guide.

Charcadet event (Advanced)

Battle Task

MissionReward
Knock Out your opponent’s Active Pokémon 1 time with an attack from a Water-type PokémonPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 4
Do 100 or more damage in total to your opponent’s Pokémon with one attackPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 4
Win this battle with 6 or more Paldean Wonders cards included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 4
Win this battle without your opponent getting any pointsPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 4

The deck we are using all fulfill the requirement as long as you have enough Pokemon on the bench for Suicune. As for how to play the deck, check the earlier sections of the guide. Try not to let your opponent take a point by swapping Pokemon to tank hits.

Charcadet Drop event (Expert)

Battle Task

MissionReward
Win this battle without any Pokémon ex included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5
Win this battle with 12 or more Paldean Wonders cards included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5
Do 100 or more damage in total to your opponent’s Pokémon with one attackPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5
Win 5 or more battlesPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5
Win 10 or more battlesPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5

Considering there is a mission of not using any Pokemon ex included in our deck, we will use a different deck for that later on but our deck from earlier all fulfill the requirements including the 12 Paldean Wonder cards. If you are missing some of the cards, you can easily replace them with anything from your collection since all you need realistically just now is to have Frigibax, Baxcalibur, Suicune shell and can put different Paldean Wonder cards is enough to win the game on its own.

As for the win without using any Pokemon ex, you can easily do it with any of your non-ex decks or you can check our decks with no-ex as format. I will just show this sample of Hydreigon deck since it is the best non-ex deck we have for now.

If you have Greavard and Houndstone, you can build a deck around it like this sample surrounding just Paldean Wonder cards but might take slow because of how Houndstone plays around.
