In this article, we’ll cover how to beat the Mega Heracross Drop event in the fastest and most efficient way possible, so let’s dive right in.
Mega Heracross ex Drop event (Beginner)

How to Beat it
The opponent's deck is composed of Leaf type which are weak to Fire type. You can run any Fire deck you have here. Just remember to put 3 Pokemon in the board to fulfill the other mission as well.
As for the deck choice, this can be tricky if you're not going to run the deck I will present. You will need 12 Pulsing Aura cards later on while also ideally going to use a Fire deck and a non-ex as well. So this deck checks all those requirements later on and highly recommend to build if you have the cards.
You can replace some of the cards if you're missing something, there is another Darmanitan on Wisdom of Sea and Sky pack if you're missing one Darmanitan. Cards like Cabbie is also helpful if you don't want Lucky Egg.
The idea is to just blitz through the opponent using Castform Sunny Form early on ideally with a Bounded Field on the side to deal 80 damage in one hit for just 1 energy. Darmanitan is your backup damage dealer so its your other energy priority.
If you can't build this deck, you can switch to a Fire deck of your choice, Mega Blaziken or Mega Charizard are all good choices which is given for free on past events.

How to Beat it
We will now start using Pulsing Aura cards from here onwards so we will just go back to the deck we used earlier and it is also featuring a Stage 1 so no problem there too.
If you don't have the initial deck, you can try to knock out with a Fire type Pokemon and then concede so you won't use an hourglass and then switch to something like this which has already 12 Pulsing Aura cards, just a Fighting type. The goal is to just wait it out with Bonsly while charging up Riolu and then evolve to Mega Lucario as your main damage dealer.

How to Beat it
As usual, we will need a Fire type for the first mission using the same deck again and has already 12 Pulsing Aura cards for the third mission.
Since we need a Mega Evolution for one of the missions, you can run any deck with a Mega Evolution Pokemon you have, we will just stick with Mega Lucario this time.
The fourth mission or the win without your opponent getting any points can be tricky with our decks since they usually are easy to be knocked out so we might have to switch with something more tanky such as Entei with Charizard, Entei can provide the draw and HP while waiting for Charizard. Entei can also deal up to 140 damage if it reaches 4 energy which is easy with this deck.

How to Beat it
We can start off initially with the Mega Lucario deck to do the Mega Evolution mission and also have 12 Pulsing Aura already. You can also use another Mega Evolution deck here but you will need 12 Pulsing Aura cards for another deck so you will have to have one if you want to finish that mission.
As for the win without using any Pokemon ex, our first deck already qualifies for this alongside the 12 Pulsing Aura cards. You can also use another non-ex deck and just commit to another deck with 12 Pulsing Aura cards.
