Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, as its game name implies, has been advertised to have a Trading feature leading up to its release. As of the global release on October 30, 2024, this feature is currently disabled and marked as "Coming soon" in the Social Hub section of the game.
This type of feature is something that digital card games generally shy away from as it is difficult to implement and balance, with issues such as:
- Players creating multiple accounts and taking advantage of the new account bonuses.
- Players potentially selling cards for real money on a third party platform.
Therefore, it is expected to have restrictions in place without compromising its monetization system too much. Here's everything we know about the system so far!

Of note are the restrictions in card rarity and an item that is required for trading. Extra copies of your cards are still used to create Flairs for your cards.
