Silvally Oricorio Best Deck Guide

This deck is built to punish EX decks hard while keeping up an incredibly aggressive pace. With A3a-061 handling early trades and A3-066 sniping the big threats, it forces opponents into tough spots fast. If you’re looking for a list that can secure free wins against EX-heavy meta decks while staying flexible, this one’s designed exactly for that.

No EX allowed!

Strengths & Weaknesses

ProsCons
+ One of the most aggressive gameplan with a win button vs EX decks.- Weak start hampers the deck a lot since it relies on early aggression.
+ A3a-061 and A3-066 cover each other's weaknesses, with A3a-061 for early game and A3-066 for EX decks that A3a-061 can’t handle.- Relies heavily on A3a-061, even more against non-EX decks.
+ Insane speed with A3a-021 hitting for 50 immediately or using Dawn to transfer the Energy to the active.

A3a-061 A3-066 is built for fast pressure, punishing EX-heavy decks while staying dominating slower decks. The usual goal is to evolve A3a-060 into A3a-061 fast and start hitting with Brave Buddies or starting with A3a-021 to start hitting right away while using A3-066 to shut down EX attackers completely.

Turn 1 Breakdown

If starting with A3a-060:
Your ideal starter if going second since it lets you attack with A3a-060 and then evolving into A3a-061 which is your main damage dealer for most of the game.

If starting with A3a-021:
Ideal starter if going first since it lets you attack right away next turn with its ability letting it gain energy when played on turn 1. You can also retreat with its 1 energy in case you want to charge up another attacker instead.

If starting with A3-066:
Only ideal if you're fighting against an EX in the active since you want to protect A3-066 against non-EX Pokémon. If you're not fighting an EX mostly retreat to A3a-060 or A3a-061 unless the 50 damage now is relevant like against Froakie that has Lightning weakness.

  • Find A3a-060 then try to evolve into A3a-061 so you can start dealing huge damage.
  • Bench your Pokémon early, especially if you have a big hand, since the deck is vulnerable to disruption like PROMO-006, A2b-069, and A2-155.
  • Usually PROMO-005 first before PROMO-007 is the ideal sequence but in this deck, you want to find A3a-021 as early as possible because of its ability same as with A3a-060 to ensure A3a-067 only finds A3a-061 so it's more correct to play PROMO-007 first before PROMO-005 to increase finding your basics right away.
  • If you already have a decent hand like A3a-060 and A3a-061, it's sometimes ok not to use PROMO-007 to prevent being vulnerable to PROMO-006 and A2-155. If A3a-060 is your only basic, you can consider still using PROMO-007 since you can bench the basics.
  • Holding onto A3a-067 until you will attack is often the right play especially if you know you will pull A3a-061, this ensures you have a Supporter to proc. If A3a-060 is still in the deck, you might want to use A3a-067 first especially if you have other Supporters.
  • Attaching energy onto A3a-060 is usually the first priority since A3a-061 is your main damager.
  • As in my other guides: if you’re planning to reset your hand, it’s smart to bait PROMO-006, A2b-069, or A2-155. Keep your hand at four or more if you're okay with a reset, and below three if you want to avoid one.

Midgame Strategy

  • A3a-061 should be evolved and ready to attack. Plan which Supporters to use so you might even throw out a Supporter like A1-223 just to trigger Brave Buddies.
  • If you're playing A2-147, it can be good to play immediately to reduce hand size but mainly use it if fearing a knockout.
  • Spread Energy across all your Pokémon, prioritizing A3a-061, so if one is KO’d you can attack with another immediately.
  • A3-066 is usually reserved for EX matchups—bring it out if they threaten you with EX Pokémon since its 70 HP can be vulnerable to non-EX attackers. Having another A3-066 on the Bench prevents a A1-225 play from sniping it, since you can promote the other. Plan for them switching in a counter and retaliate with A3a-061; if they bring out EX Pokémon again, swap back to A3-066.

Master Tips

  • This deck is inherently aggressive thanks to A2-154 and A3a-021. If you start with A3a-021, it gains Energy turn 1 so it can attack next turn—and with A1-223 it deals 60 immediately, enough to KO most basics like Eevee.
  • If you start with A3a-021 on the Bench and have A2-154, you can transfer its gained Energy directly to the active. With A3a-060 and A3a-061 ready, you can attack for 100 damage as early as turn 2 even if going first—same if it's A3-066 active.
  • You can also use A3a-021 as a tank to take hits when it goes first, then bring out A3a-061 later. It can also retreat for free using the Energy gained from its ability.
  • A2-154 can also let you transfer Energy midway, so if you want to retreat a A3a-061 for a A3-066, you can transfer the Energy from A3a-061 to A3-066 letting it attack right away.
  • If your opponent is aggressive (going first while you start with A3a-060), it might make more sense to charge another A3a-061 instead of evolving a dying A3a-060, ensuring you get the full 100 damage value later.
  • With the deck’s fast A3a-061, you can aggressively use A1-225 to knock out or weaken an opponent's charged Pokémon. This is powerful if you can follow up with A2-150 later for an EX knockout and 2 points.
  • Since the deck is vulnerable to A2-155 and will take early points, freely playing Supporters to reduce hand size is viable so that if you get hit by A2-155, you shuffle back fewer cards.

How to Play Red Card & Mars

If You’re Going First

  • Against non–Stage 2 decks:
Use PROMO-006 right away to limit their setup—this is when it hurts them most since they’re not combo-reliant and don’t need a 2-card setup.
  • Against Stage 2 decks:
It might be better to delay a turn. Since they can’t evolve yet, holding PROMO-006 can be more effective—especially after they play PROMO-007.

If You’re Going Second

  • If they’ve played all their Basics, it’s usually safe to use PROMO-006—they’re protecting a strong hand.
  • If not, hold it—they might already be bricked, and you don’t want to help them reset.
  • Against Stage 2 decks, only play PROMO-006 if they’re sitting on 4+ cards—otherwise wait until their hand grows or after a PROMO-007.

Mars Tips

A2-155 becomes stronger later in the game. You can be more conservative early on and play it once you know a Pokémon will get KO’d to increase its impact.

Core

Must-have cards the deck relies on to function.

  • A3a-060 – Your ideal starter going second. If it’s going down, just set up another.
  • A3a-061 – Mostly your main damage dealer—make the most of it since it’s your highest damager.
  • A3-066 – Backup for fighting EX decks—try to keep 2 alive to avoid a A1-225 play.
  • A3a-021 – Ideal starter going first since it attacks next turn; strong with A1-223 for taking down 60 HP.
  • PROMO-007 – Sometimes best to hold if you have a good hand to protect against PROMO-006 and A2-155.
  • PROMO-005 – Usually better to play PROMO-007 before PROMO-005 since you want to grab most basics early.
  • A3a-067 – Often best to hold until ready to attack with A3a-061, but be wary if A3a-060 is still in the deck.
  • A1-223A3a-021 + A1-223 one-shots 60 HP basics like Eevee, also good against opposing A3a-061.
  • A2-155 – Sometimes best to hold if you have a good hand to protect against these.

Optional

Cards that can be cut without hurting core consistency.

  • A2-154 – Transfers Energy from A3a-021 to your active, letting you hit right away, especially with A3a-061.
  • A1-225 – Incredibly potent in an aggressive deck since it controls the board early.
  • A2-150 – Your answer to high-HP threats that retreat or for securing high-priority knockouts.
  • A2-155 – Good Supporter that easily procs for A3a-061 and is strong against a card-draw-heavy meta.

Situational

Techs that only matter in specific matchups.

  • A2-147 – Good dump option, avoids the 120 knockout threshold for A3a-061, avoids the 100 knockout for A3a-021.
  • PROMO-006 – Good dump option, strong against card-draw-heavy meta.
