In this article, we’ll cover how to beat the Raichu ex Drop event in the fastest and most efficient way possible—so let’s dive right in.
Raichu ex Drop Event (Beginner)
Battle Task
| Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Knock Out your opponent’s Active Pokémon 1 time with an attack from a Fighting-type Pokémon | 4 |
| Put 3 Basic Pokémon into play | 4 |
How to Beat it
The opponent's deck is weak to Fighting so the best deck so you can throw out your best Fighting deck. I would recommend is the Lycanroc Rampardos. Mostly because you can set it on Autoplay since we're guaranteed to start with A3-098 searches for A3-101 letting it evolve next turn and attack. Then you build A2-089 as backup damage dealer if A3-101 gets knocked out. As for why we are running Sabrina and Red. We will look into that later on the more advanced sections.
Be mindful of putting 3 Basics since that is required for the mission. The Fossil is counted as a Basic for some reason in these mission so as long you play 3, you can finish it.
Raichu ex Drop Event (Intermediate)
Battle Task
| Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Knock Out your opponent's Active Pokémon 2 times with an attack from a Fighting-type Pokémon | 3 |
| Put a Stage 1 Pokémon into play | 4 |
| Win this battle by turn 14 | 4 |
How to Beat it
You can play the same deck listed above—refer to the earlier sections for how they work. Since there’s a mission to put Stage 1 Pokémon into play, you definitely need to evolve and all the decks run a Stage 1 Pokemon.
The objective to win within 14 turns is very manageable since the deck is fast.
Raichu ex Drop Event (Advanced)
Battle Task
| Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Knock Out your opponent's Active Pokémon 2 times with an attack from a Fighting-type Pokemon | 4 |
| Win this battle using a deck where all the Pokémon cards are of ♦, ♦♦, and/or ♦♦♦ rarity | 4 |
| Win this battle by turn 14 | 4 |
| Win this battle without your opponent getting any points | 4 |
How to Beat it
Since the missions requires winning with a Fighting and using only Pokémon of ♦, ♦♦, and/or ♦♦♦ rarity, we will stick with the same deck. For full details, refer to the earlier sections of this guide.
We are now fighting Raichu ex which can one shot our Pokemon. This is why we use Red so that Lycanroc can one-shot with the help of type advantage amounting to 140 damage. And Sabrina is used to snipe Pikachu before it even evolves to Raichu.
For the mission to win without the opponent scoring any points, this can be more challenging with a non-EX deck. I would recommend switching to an EX deck with huge HP and damage such as Charizard.
Raichu ex Drop Event (Expert)
Battle Task
| Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Win this battle using a Deck where all the Pokémon cards are of ♦, ♦♦, and/or ♦♦♦ rarity | 5 |
| Win this battle by turn 12 | 5 |
| Win this battle without your opponent getting any points | 5 |
| Win 10 or more battles | 5 |
| Win 20 or more battles | 5 |
How to Beat it
We're just going to repeat the strategy from the Intermediate section. Magnezone can be tough to deal with so always be ready with your Rampardos. As for Raichu as long you have Rampardos you can deal with it or one shot it with Red or snipe with Sabrina.
If you're having a hard time to finish the mission to win without your opponent getting any points, you can switch to an EX deck like the Charizard, do note that they're running Oricorio so just replay until you can win.
