Mega Latios ex Drop event (Beginner)

Battle Task

MissionReward
Knock Out your opponent’s Active Pokémon 1 time with an attack from a Darkness-type PokémonPokémon TCG Pocket Event Hourglass 4
Put 3 Basic Pokémon into playPokémon TCG Pocket Event Hourglass 4

The opponent's deck is composed of assorted type of Pokemon but mostly Colorless but we will just prioritize the Knock out mission with a Dark type so just choose any deck of yours that have a Dark type and make sure to knock out it. It is also important to put 3 Pokemon in the board to fulfill the other mission as well.

As for the deck choice, I chose this deck to fulfill the requirements of later missions as well. For how to play the deck, it is to evolve Deino into Hydreigon using Rare Candy or through Zweilous. Hydreigon becomes your main damage dealer for 130 damage for just 1 energy since its ability lets you gain 2 energy by itself. Mega Absol can be used as a huge HP tank that can also deal 80 damage. Its attack's effect is a bit useless this time around so we are mostly just using it for its HP. Furfrou is something you can tank with early on or deal 30 damage as well but be sure that you also get a knock out with a Dark type Pokemon for the mission. Indeedee ex can serve to heal your Hydreigon after using its ability or any Pokemon that takes damage making sure they always survive. We are only running Dark energy for this deck and Indeedee ex is just our healer.

Put a Stage 1 Pokémon into playPokémon TCG Pocket Event Hourglass 4
Win this battle with 2 or more Crimson Blaze cards included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Event Hourglass 2

We are just using the same deck again since we do run Zweilous and also run 2 Furfrou as our 2 Crimson Blaze cards. It is very important to put play Zweilous or you won't be able to fulfill the stage 1 Pokemon mission.

As for how to play the deck, check the earlier sections of the guide.

Mega Latios ex event (Advanced)

Battle Task

MissionReward
Knock Out your opponent’s Active Pokémon 1 time with an attack from a Darkness-type PokémonPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 4
Win this battle with 1 or more Mega Evolution Pokémon ex included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 4
Win this battle with 6 or more Crimson Blaze cards included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 4
Win this battle without your opponent getting any pointsPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 4

Since we now need to run 6 Crimson Blaze cards in our deck, it can be tricky to build a competent Darkness deck while also fulfilling the other missions so I suggest tackling the missions twice. First with the Darkness type deck with the Hydreigon earlier. As for how to play the deck, check the earlier sections of the guide.

The other is a Magnezone Heliolisk deck for multiple Crimson Blaze cards. You evolve Magnemite into Magneton and it charges energy on its own and then evolve into Magnezone as one of your damage dealers. Helioptile can evolve into Heliolisk as another damage dealer but it discards energy after attacking so most of your manual energy attachment should be going into it since Magneton already charges energy by itself. I recommend playing Sabrina so that if they ever play Mega Latios, you can easily swap it out and also avoiding being taken a point.

Battle Task

MissionReward
Win this battle without any Pokémon ex included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5
Win this battle with 12 or more Crimson Blaze cards included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5
Win this battle with 1 or more Mega Evolution Pokémon ex included in your deckPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5
Win 5 or more battlesPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5
Win 10 or more battlesPokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Hourglass 5

Considering the missions are harder to fulfill in one go, we will do the same approach from the Advanced section and play them twice and since you will be playing multiple battles anyway, you can do this much more freely.

You can run any deck with a Mega Evolution Pokemon to fulfill the win with 1 or more Mega Evolution ex in your deck so we can run the same Hydreigon deck from earlier to save the trouble. Check the earlier sections of the guide to find out.

The Magnezone Heliolisk already consists of 12 Crimson Blaze cards so we already fulfill that mission easily and also contains non-ex cards triggering the other mission as well.
