The Trade feature of Pokémon TCG Pocket is found under the Social Hub section of the game. Currently, players can trade cards up to ☆1 rarity with friends using Trade Tokens and Trade Stamina. Here's everything you need to know about the system and how it works.

How to Trade
- First, choose one friend to trade with and send a trade offer.
- Then, choose just one card to send to that friend, and offer it to trade. After you send your trade offer, wait for their response.
- When you get a response, a notification will appear on the Trade screen. View the card they're offering and tap OK.
- Once a trade agreement is reached, you and your trade partner's cards will be exchanged.
- In order to trade, you need trade stamina. Trade stamina recovers over time. You can use items to reduce the time it takes to recover.
- Trades can be done with cards of the same rarity. In order to trade high-rarity cards, you need trade tokens.
- Trade tokens can be obtained in Obtain Items by collecting multiples of the same card. You can find Obtain Items in My Cards.
Trade Rules
- About Rarity: It's only possible to trade cards of the same rarity.
- About Flair: If you apply flair, the card you receive from your trade partner must also have flair applied.
- About Cards/Flair That Cannot Be Traded: The following cards cannot be traded:

- About High-Rarity Card Trades: You need trade tokens to trade cards of high rarity.
Trade Tokens
Trade Tokens can be obtained by consuming cards with a rarity of ♢♢♢ or higher, or completing event missions that reward them.
Trade Tokens are required to trade depending on the rarity of the card.
Trade Stamina
1 Trade Stamina is required for every trade, and similar to other Stamina systems in the game, it allows for a maximum of 5, with 3 additional you can store.
1 Trade Stamina is restored every 24 hours, which can be restored with either:
- 1 Poké Gold reduces Trade Stamina recovery by 4 hours
- 1 Trade Hourglass reduces Trade Stamina recovery by 1 hour
Trade Hourglass
Trade Hourglasses are items that reduce the time it takes to recover Trade Stamina. 1 Trade Hourglass reduces the time by one hour.
If a Trade Hourglass is used when less than one hour is remaining, the extra time will be applied to recovery of the next Trade Stamina.
They can be obtained in various events and gifts.

The rarity of cards that be traded is set for each expansion.
Note: In some cases, certain cards can be traded regardless of their rarity.
FAQ
The “Trade” button is grayed out and cannot be pressed.
When too many players are trading at the same time, trading may be temporarily suspended.
Please wait for a while and try again later.
If you are already in the middle of a trade with a friend, the trade will resume once the suspension period ends.
However, if the trade period expires during the suspension, the trade will not be completed.
In such cases, the consumed trade stamina will be restored, and any cards or items involved will be returned to their original state.
I want to see a list of the cards I'm currently able to trade.
Please follow the steps below to view this in-game.

I want to see the cards I've traded and received in the past.
You can check the history of your most recent 30 trades over the past 90 days.

When I receive a trade offer, cards I own are not displayed for trade.
Trades can be done with cards of the same rarity.
Therefore, only cards of the same rarity that you own will appear on your card select screen.
Also, when trading cards that have effects, both cards must have effects.
Due to this, only cards with effects will appear on your card select screen.
I want to change the card I will send in the middle of a trade.
You cannot change the card you will send to your trade partner after proposing the trade.
If you want to change cards, please cancel the trade and start over.
I want to trade cards in other languages or cards with effects.
After selecting the card that you will send to your trade partner, you can select the language of the card or effect using the Edit Card button.

Social Hub (the middle button at the bottom of the screen) > Trade > Tap Trade on the player you want to send to > Tap the card you want to send > Edit Card > Language, or the effect Settings > Choose the language or effect and tap Set > OK
If I have no more copies of that card after the trade, will that card's effect disappear?
No, it will not.
However, you will not be able to view that card's effect until you obtain the applicable card again.
The trade was not accepted, but my trade stamina and items have not been returned.
If your trade was canceled, the trade stamina that was consumed will be restored, and your cards or items will be returned.
If your trade stamina fully recovered during the trade, you will recover the trade stamina past the maximum.
Is there a setting that allows me to reject trade offers from specific players?
No, there is not.
I don't want to receive trade offers from other players.
You can enable a setting that will prevent you from receiving trade offers from other players.
You will still be able to send trade offers.

Menu (the right-most button at the bottom of the screen) > Other > Settings > Trade > Suspend Trade Offers
I cannot trade with friends.
If any of the conditions below apply to the player, you will not be able to trade with them.
- They are already trading with someone else.
- They have suspended trade offers.
- They have not unlocked the trade function (unlocked at player level 3).
How do I trade with players I am not friends with?
You cannot trade with players you have not added as friends.
My trade partner was changed in the middle of the trade.
Trade partners cannot be changed in the middle of a trade.
However, your trade partner might have changed their icon and/or Player Name.
Can I trade with multiple players at the same time?
No, you cannot.
If you want to trade with another player while you are already in a trade, the current trade must either be accepted and completed or canceled.
