Our Genetic Apex Expert Solo Battle Guide aims to help you to get that 100% completion for all the Battle Task for each challenges. Personally, during the soft launch (while technically living in New Zealand) it took me a few days to be able to complete all tasks.
The rental decks really helped me to beat these strong decks in the Expert Solo Battle stages since I was going full free-to-play during the soft launch. So, it is possible to get a 100% completion without spending a dime, but you need some time to build your collection - opening 2 packs one day at a time.
General Expert Solo Battle Guides
Keep in mind that you don't need to complete all the tasks in one sitting but you can challenge those solo battles multiple times with different decks until all tasks are completed. If you're a new player, some key cards should be included in your decks for better results/consistency:
promo-1-potion ×2 - To help your Pokemon stay at the Active Spot longer
promo-5-poke-ball ×2 - To help tutor your cards out from your deck and thinning your deck at the same time. Deck thinning is good to help you draw key cards even faster as you progress further in your match.
promo-7-professors-research ×2 - A bigger hand helps you to have more options during your turn. Helping you to make certain plays that would otherwise be impossible without a specific card not yet drawn out from your deck.
a1-225-sabrina ×1 or ×2 - Get that opposing AI EX Pokémon away from the Active Spot to steal one match point. Great finisher when you need to secure just one more point to close the match.
The decks recommended are mainly to complete the following objectives:
Win this battle with a deck whose Pokemon are only (X)-type [Where (X) is Grass, Fire, etc]
Win this battle using a deck where all the Pokemon cards are of ⟡, ⟡⟡, and/or ⟡⟡⟡ rarity
After that, you can switch decks that are more powerful (includes EX Pokémon) to make your life easier - you can check out our Guides Section and Tier List to get to know the best decks. Good luck!

a1-93-frosmoth is weak against Metal NOT lightning, so it's a good inclusion

We are suggesting you use the typical a1-95-raichu, a1-98-magneton, and a1-226-lt-surge combo here
a1-98-magneton stores some energy unto itself before a1-226-lt-surge helps passing everything to a1-95-raichu to finish off your opponent's Pokémon
a1-100-electrode has a zero retreat cost to easily make way for a1-95-raichu
Reset if the AI manage get a1-146-machampex online, since you can't one-shot it with a1-95-raichu
