This week’s biggest tournament, Ursiiday’s Pocket Weekly #32, just wrapped up—and with 686 players, it brought our first real look at the meta with the brand-new Eevee Grove expansion live. The format’s already shaking up, with fresh decks emerging, while older strategies get powered up by new support.
As always, we’ll go over the most played decks, who actually made it to Top Cut, and what all this means for Ranked. Whether you're pushing for Master Ball or just checking out the new trends, this report has you covered. Let’s dive in!
Deck Distribution
Ursiiday Weekly #32 (686 players)

Eevee Grove has taken over, and we have a new archetype at the top. A3b-034 is leading the way, paired with A1-089 and A2b-035 in fast, aggressive builds that enable A1-089 more efficiently than ever before. We’ll dig into how this deck works a bit more later.
A3-122 A3a-027 holds the second spot, riding on its dominance from the last expansion while also acting as a natural counter to A3b-034, which many expected to flood the meta.
Third place goes to A2-110 A2b-035, which surprises no one at this point. It’s a reliable, well-tested deck that's perfect for a new meta, serving as the litmus test for how good other decks really are.
A3a-043 A3a-042 is climbing the ranks as more players embrace the power of poison. It’s a balanced option that excels against high-HP EX decks thanks to steady poison damage over time.
A3a-006 has dropped from its #1 spot last expansion, mainly due to the surge of Fire decks from this set—including A3-033, which really benefits from the new Supporter, A3b-068.
A2b-010 A3b-034 is also seeing a lot of play, showing that A3b-034 is quickly becoming the go-to choice for many evolution-focused builds.
As always, there are plenty of A3-066 decks in the mix, plus new takes on A3b-037, A3b-024, and A3b-009 rounding out the field.
Top 64
Ursiiday Weekly #32

- When we look at conversion rates to Top Cut, A3a-061 A3-066 leads the field at 25%, showing that even with lower overall entries, it’s remarkably efficient at making deep runs. It’s a strong choice for players who know how to pilot it well and want to catch popular decks off guard, especially the greedier ones who have no answer to A3-066.
- A3b-034 A1-089 sits just under 19%, proving it’s not just the most popular pick but also reliably successful. It’s a fast, consistent list that converts large entry numbers into strong finishes, making it the clear face of the new meta so far.
- A2-053 A3a-027 hit around 18%, which debuted a little late from last expansion and is now showing dominance—probably helped by A3-066 as well, assuming A3a-061 A3-066 also became successful.
- Another at 18% is A3b-009 A3-037, with A3b-009 taking advantage of the new A3-037 since A3-037 discards Energy which fuels A3b-009.
- A3a-043 A3a-042 and A2b-035 A2-110 each convert around 17–18%, demonstrating they're steady, reliable choices. A3a-043 A3a-042 has especially grown into the role of punishing high-HP EX decks with poison over time, while A2b-035 A2-110 remains the consistent "meta test" deck that holds its ground against nearly everything—even A3-066.
- A3a-006 A3a-062 lands around 11%, a clear drop from its dominance last expansion. The rise of Fire decks, especially A3b-009, has made life harder for A3a-006 players, forcing them to adapt or risk early exits.
- A3-122 A3a-027 sits lower at about 7%, reflecting the challenge of being both popular and targeted, as well as the dominance of A3-066. As a natural counter to A3b-034, it remains an important part of the meta, but its conversion suggests it’s not an easy ride, with many players prepared for it this week.
- At the lower end, decks like A2b-010 A3b-034 and A1-089 A3-066 hover around 6–8%, showing they’re a bit more fringe or experimental right now, with fewer successful runs despite seeing decent play. It's a little unusual for A1-089 A3-066 to do poorly considering it's also an A3-066 deck, but it’s probably overshadowed by A3b-034, and an innovation that could help is teching in A3b-034 as well to be more consistent.
- Overall, these numbers highlight a meta where A3b-034 A1-089 is not only popular but efficient.

- Yes, you're seeing it right. That's 3 A3b-034 A1-089 in the top 4 and also 8 of the A3b-034 A1-089 also took the top 16, making the deck extremely strong and one of the terrors we will be facing moving forward.
- The three A3b-034 A1-089 lists are all highly identical, with just the first place using A2-146 over A2b-069 of the other two lists.
- Most of their matches were also quite similar with A3b-034 A1-089 mirrors, wins against A3-122 A3a-027, some A3a-043 A3a-042, and some A3b-009 decks. Looking at the matchup table, they are hovering around 40% winrate against A3-122 A3a-027, which makes sense due to how A3-122 one-shots A3b-034, and also A2-110 A2b-035. What makes A2-110 A2b-035 a harder matchup is they stagger their threats, and since A3b-034 A1-089 has some damage problems if you don't get A2b-035 early, you may have a hard time dealing with a second huge threat. This makes finding A2b-035 early incredibly important.
- Second place was taken by A3b-009 A3-037, which is also one of the higher conversion decks, so this looks like the second-best new deck of this set. It won 2 out of 4 A3b-034 A1-089 matchups—so not that good of a matchup against that deck for sure, but still impressive regardless.
Sylveon ex Greninja – 1st Place
The new A3b-034 A1-089 is taking over the new set. I recently made a full guide about it so check it out if you want to know more about this monster of a deck. The goal is to simply bring out A1-089 as fast as possible with A3b-034 drawing cards and with the new Eevee as well. What's different about this list is they're running 2 A2-150 and a PROMO-006. This is a good meta call overall if you expect to fight a lot of mirrors since A2-150 can pull any A3b-034 or A2b-035 on the bench and they will definitely evolve since they want to draw with A3b-034. The PROMO-006 is also good against the mirror by limiting your opponent’s options to snowball, though it just reduces their chances. So overall, this is the tournament version to play with the deck.
I will also not discuss the 3rd and 4th place anymore due to just 1 card difference between A2b-069 and A2-146. We are not sure yet which is better overall, but I believe A2-146 is much more consistent since you can reliably get access to A3b-034 more easily, while A2b-069 has greater variance and can search for A3-144 too but can also miss for you. We will find out in the upcoming weeks.
If you want a deeper breakdown of how the deck works, check out the full guide.
Flareon ex Turtonator - 2nd Place
Second best new deck is A3b-009 A3-037 with this second-place finish. The goal is to use A3-037 and with A3-150 gain Energy right away while the discarded Energy from A3-037's attack can be used by A3b-009, effectively letting you generate Energy even after using A3-037 and enabling you to stagger threats, which is tough for other decks to deal with. The problem, though, is if you start with A3-037 without A3-150, you might have to give up A3-037 initially. This list runs 2 A2b-070 and two A3b-066, so you’re definitely healing a lot given how you sacrifice 20 HP for A3b-009 every time. A3b-066 also gives you extra damage along with Red, and there’s also A2-148 so you have access to a lot of damage. We’re definitely not sure of the most optimized list yet, but this might be the benchmark of standard A3b-009 lists given how everything fits together.
Solgaleo Sylveon ex – Top 32
There really weren’t many new decks that made it into the Top 32 aside from this, but we can feature this A3b-034 deck paired with A3-122. The idea is the same as the A3a-027 version of finding cards as soon as possible, but the question is whether this is better than A3a-027. Being a new deck means we don’t have the data yet or haven’t tried it myself, but it does look decent on paper since Eevee can also draw as well. I think the biggest strength of running A3b-034 is with 140 HP, you’re able to survive a A3a-061 unlike A3a-027. The 2-point loss doesn’t matter too much anyway since you're bringing out A3-122. It would only matter if you're really behind and can afford to lose a A3a-027 and another A3a-027, so both have some merits. It is weaker to A3-066, though, because unlike A3a-027 it can at least deal 40 damage, and this A3-122 deck is definitely only running Metal Energy and skipping Psychic altogether.

Best Decks for Ranked
And this means what are the decks you will bring in Ranked? Gathering all the data we have from the tournaments, we now have an idea on what decks to bring. Although with the lower prevalence of new decks that progressed to the top, we might see less variation among the top decks for now.
Sylveon ex Greninja
Of course, this is the first deck to come to mind. With extremely good results, it is one of the decks to beat. I recently made a guide explaining how to play the deck in detail, so check that out. I still advocate playing 2 A2-147 because there are still a lot of A3-122 on ladder. As for A2a-072, it might make sense to replace it with A2-150 more because you might face a lot of mirrors, so judge whatever you're facing and adjust accordingly. If you're also concerned for the mirror, A2a-072 for a A2-147.
If you want to learn how to navigate those matchups and optimize every turn, check out the full guide.
Shiinotic Solgaleo ex
A3-122 is one of the top decks for sure because it's one of the natural predators of A3b-034 given how it can one-shot it. A3b-034 decks are running A2-147 to mitigate this, so it might make sense to bring in A2b-071 or A3-151. I would advocate A3-151 more since there are also an increasing number of A3a-043 and A2-110 A2b-035, which might be troublesome matchups as well. Anyhow, definitely a top deck with a good A3b-034 matchup.
Check the guide if you want to learn more about the deck.

And what preys on A3-122 and A3b-034? It's this deck, although it’s not polarizing and just has a 60–40 matchup so there’s still a lot of wiggle room for the deck to lose and it still needs to be piloted to perfection. If I’m not doing content, I would probably just run this deck and speed through to Master Ball. The deck is still vulnerable to A3-066, especially if you're not running the A3a-042 version, so always prepare for that and practice that matchup carefully.
Flareon ex Turtonator
A3b-009 is also looking to be extremely oppressive with how fast it can generate Energy with A3-150 on A3-037, and with A3b-009 getting discarded Energy from A3-037, you can play it after A3-037 goes down.
The deck operates by ideally starting with A3-037 and using A3-150 to gain Energy to use its attack. Since its attack discards Energy, this lets A3b-009 get Energy from the discard pile to fuel itself, having A3b-009 ready to attack by the time A3-037 goes down. Definitely looking to be one of the stronger decks of this meta.
Magnezone Shiinotic
A2-053 A3a-027 is becoming a meta staple due to how fast it can operate—probably not as fast as A3b-034, but being able to pull all the A2-053 pieces every turn can get your engine going as quickly as possible. It is one of the strongest counters to A3-122 due to running A3-066, so A3-122 will definitely have a hard time.
The core idea is to use A3a-027 to search out pieces for A2-053 and A3-066, who act as your main attackers.
You evolve from A2-051 into A1-098, then into A2-053, which fuels itself with Lightning Energy. Once powered up, A2-053 can take over the game, especially since it never runs out of Energy unless it’s KO’d. It also runs A3-066, so it's ready for the EX matchups, considering there has been a rising number of EX as well as a slight decline for A3-066 itself.
Silvally Oricorio
A3a-061 A3-066 has been the most successful in terms of conversion rates, but we do have to acknowledge that it's playing in a more controlled environment like tournaments where most matchups are only top decks. The deck can be less consistent in lower ranks where players might use odd, off-meta decks. It can also be a tough matchup against other A3a-061 variants like A3a-061 Rampardos, which are more common in lower ranks. But since A3a-061 is strong on its own, you can definitely still win plenty of games.
Ideally, you want to start with A3a-021, and even A2-154 relies on it to generate early pressure. Still, thanks to A3a-061’s raw power, the deck can go toe-to-toe with anything.
Gameplan breakdown:
Going second: Start with A3a-060, evolve into A3a-061, and swing for 100 damage on Turn 2 with any Supporter.
Going first: Open with A3a-021, use its Ability + manual attach, and with help from A2-154, swing with A3a-061 or A3-066 by Turn 2.
Silvally Rampardos
A3a-061 A2-089 is still good even a month after. Although it's not the colossal titan it was when it first emerged, it’s still a solid, easy deck to run—especially if you just want to climb casually or don’t have too many cards. The deck still has balanced matchups across the board, and A3-122 isn’t as bad as it was initially.
For a full breakdown of how the deck plays, check the guide linked.
Charizard ex Silvally
A2b-010 A3a-061 isn’t as strong as it was before, and people are experimenting with using A3b-034 as the draw engine—although that makes the A3-066 matchup unwinnable. I still prefer A3a-061’s flexibility and just having A2b-010 as backup damage.
Gameplan depends on your opener:
If you start with A2b-008 and have A3-144, you can quickly evolve into A2b-010 for early pressure.
Most of the time, you’ll want to open with A3a-060, evolve into A3a-061, and swing for 100 on Turn 2.
Then transition into A2b-010 to clean up what A3a-061 softened.
Guzzlord ex Nihilego
A3a-043 has been increasing in number, and it’s really good against high-HP decks like A3-122 or A2b-010. It can one-shot them with just the right amount of poison ticks, so if they’re not running A3-151 they will definitely have a hard time.
The deck can be outrushed for sure, especially if you don’t draw well against something like A3a-061 or A3b-034 A1-089. A3a-043 A3a-042 is still a strong competitor. If you want to learn how to play the deck, check out this guide.
Incineroar ex Sylveon ex
And finally, I’ll feature the A3-033 deck—although it’s not as good as most decks here, it still has potential thanks to how it can KO the rest of the field, especially if you hate A3-122. Although you do lose to A3-066 having no answer, we’ll watch in the coming weeks to see if A3-033 will hold up or if it’s just new toy syndrome.
The goal is to evolve into A3-033 as fast as you can and use A3b-068’s 30 damage if you’re looking to one-shot—even A3-033’s Fire Fang can deal 80 damage, one-shotting something like A3a-060. With the help of A3b-034, you’re also drawing a lot of cards to speed up the A3-033 gameplan.
Final Thoughts
The new Eevee Grove meta is taking shape fast. A3b-034 A1-089 stands out as the deck to beat, while counters like A3-122 A3a-027 and strong picks like A3b-009 A3-037 and A3a-061 A3-066 keep things balanced.
Expect the meta to keep shifting as players adapt—so choose your deck wisely and be ready for the next wave of changes.
Good luck, and see you at Masterball!
