Full guide for the new Aerodactyl ex Marshadow deck that's destroying everyone in the shadows. The most underrated best deck that's killing everyone with it's plethora of tools like evolution blocking, bench hitters and high sources of damage.
General Strategy
To begin with your starters since you won't be drawing a1a-63-old-amber while a1a-47-marshadow and a1a-46-aerodactyl-ex will be your backup source of high damage.
Power Level
As for the power level, I believe it is up there with a1a-47-marshadow a nudge higher because of the 100 damage that can instantly kill a1-96-pikachuex. a1a-46-aerodactyl-ex a1a-47-marshadow decks can beat the top decks such as a1-96-pikachuex, a1-129-mewtwoex, a1a-3-celebi-ex, a1a-18-gyarados-ex with the help of A1-154 and even harder matchups like a1-36-charizardex because of their high HP.
Decks
New A1a-041 can one shot a 60 HP Basic Pokémon with the help of A1-223 and a bit of prayer, this snowballs into winning games right here and there. And that's the reason why we are running the new A1a-041 compared to the old one. Running the old A1-141 is still decent if you prefer not dealing with the coin toss but you lose the high potential.
There will be times where A1a-041 will not hit and as long as you are in the mindset of this is the cost of having 50 damage, it will be fine and it's like 20 damage anyway if compared to old A1-141.
More stable starter than A1a-042 since not needing evolution and consistent 40 damage.
A1-198 is vulnerable to Electric but it doesn’t matter that much aside from A1-104 at the start.
A1-198 is also only 60 HP so a little bit vulnerable to a lot of attacks especially when paired with A1-223.
Running only 3 basics composed of A1-151 and A1-154 only. You can also run a1a-47-marshadow here but you also have to add another basic Pokémon to dilute the pool since you don't want to draw a1a-47-marshadow as a starter. As for adding A1a-067, since a1a-46-aerodactyl-ex and A1-153 are 140 HP both, they are a bit vulnerable to a1a-18-gyarados-ex and running A1a-067 can at least mitigate that. We run another non-ex A1-152 so that we always have an evolution to hold onto since there is a high chance of drawing A1-151 or running a A1-198. Not needing A1-223 too much because A1-153 has higher damage.
A1-153 is less reliable than the other builds because of the coinflip so play at your own risk!
Higher potential damage because of the A1-089 line but it also makes it less consistent so this might be the worst out of the four. We are also just using Fighting energy because we're just using Greninja for its ability that's why there's also one A1-087 so we don't always draw it right at the start.
