S Tier
Hydreigon Mega Absol ex
Using only Dark energy, evolve Deino into Hydreigon to be your main damage dealer. It's Ability lets it charge energy on its own letting you attack every turn. Mega Absol can serve as a backup damage dealer while waiting for Hydreigon or if its knocked out.
Suicune ex Baxcalibur
Using only Water energy, the deck revolves around Suicune's draw ability to rapidly evolve Frigibax into Baxcalibur, creating a powerful engine that gives additional energy per turn mainly fueling Chien-Pao or also Suicune. Chien-Pao can snipe most important Pokemon from anywhere on the field.
Mega Altaria ex Greninja
Using only Psychic energy, evolve Swablu into Mega Altaria ex as your main win condition. Evolving Froakie into Greninja to use its ability to deal damage. Chingling to stall or delay until you can get into Mega Altaria ex.
Greninja Mega Absol ex
Using only Dark energy, you ideally start with Chingling to delay your opponent while you build energy for Darkrai or Mega Absol. Evolve Froakie into Greninja using Rare Candy to deal damage through its ability.
Giratina ex Darkrai ex
Using only Dark energy, you manually attach Dark energy into Darkrai to deal damage through its ability while also charging for its attack. Giratina's ability can let it charge energy on its own getting the Psychic energy needed. Once both are charged up, you can stagger attacker after another.
Mega Manectric ex Zeraora
Using only Lightning energy, try to gain energy for Zeraora to start off with the initial attacks while evolving Electrike into Mega Manectric ex as your finisher especially when you got a lot of points. Oricorio can also be used if facing against an ex opponent.
Mega Altaria ex Igglybuff
Using only Psychic energy, Igglybuff and Swablu can put the opposing Active Pokemon into sleep which syngergizes with non-ex Darkrai's ability to deal 20 damage per turn. Swablu can still be evolved into Mega Altaria for a stronger win condition.
Mega Scizor ex Revavroom
Using only Steel energy, evolve Scyther into Mega Scizor while also getting energy for its attack. Keep it in the bench so that you can make use of its attack gaining 50 more damage if moved from the bench. This can be done easily with the help of Revavroom letting you switch off any Pokemon from the active into Mega Scizor ex.
Mega Steelix ex Indeedee ex
Using only Steel energy, evolve Onyx into Mega Steelix to use its attack and mitigate as much damage as possible with the help of most of your trainers serving as a tank and damage dealer at the same time. Delaying evolving Onyx to make use of Brock can be a strong strategy especially if you can survive the first hits. Indeedee is used to keep healing Onyx or Mega Steelix in the active.
A Tier
Magnezone Mega Manectric ex
Using only Lightning energy, evolve Magnemite into Magneton to gain energy from its ability then evolve to Magnezone as one of your main damage dealers. Evolve Electrike to Mega Manectric ex as also another damage option that can deal up to 140 damage if already taken 2 points.
Mega Charizard X and Y ex
Using only Fire energy, evolve Charmander into Mega Charizard X or Y depending on the damage needed. Entei will be able to take damage and draw cards to accelerate your gameplan.
Mega Venusaur ex
Evolve Bulbasaur into Ivysaur either manually or Quick-Grow Extract and then into Mega Venusaur which becomes your main damage dealer and tank. Keep it as long as possible with multiple heal options.
Mega Altaria ex Gourgeist
Using only Psychic energy, evolve Swablu into Mega Altaria ex as your main win condition. Evolve Pumpkaboo into Gourgeist as backup damage dealer. Chingling to stall or delay until you can get into your other damage dealers.
B Tier
Mega Altaria ex
Using only Psychic energy, evolve Swablu into Mega Altaria ex as your main win condition. Chingling, Furfrou, and Tapu Lele as chip damage while waiting to evolve Mega Altaria ex. Klefki can be used to remove your opponent's Tools. Comfey is to relieve all Special Conditions.
Meowscarada ex Meowscarada
Using only Grass energy, Sprigatito can search for your other Grass Pokemon and then evolve into Meowscarada ex or Meowscarada. Meowscarada ex can deal 70 damage on your opponents turn for only 1 energy making it ideal for fast evolves.
Leafeon ex Teal Mask Ogerpon ex
Using only Grass energy, you ideally start with Eevee then evolve into Leafeon ex to start generating energy through its ability to attack or give to Teal Mask Ogerpon which can deal up to 120 damage if it has 5 energy or more.
Magnezone Oricorio
Using only Lightning energy, you stall with Oricorio while you build Magnezone. Evolve Magnemite into Magneton to gain energy from its ability then evolve to Magnezone as a finisher. You dump your hand fast to make use of Copycat finding your cards faster.
Greninja Oricorio
Using only Water energy, Pichu can serve as energy generator to any of your Pokemon most importantly to Oricorio which blocks EX Pokemon. Evolve Froakie to Greninja using Rare Candy to use its ability every turn. Mega Kangaskhan can be used as a tank that can be later returned with Ilima to deny points.
